人力車 (jinrikisha) = rickshaw runner

 

 

人 (jin) means person, 力 (riki) means power and 車 (sha) means cart or car. The English translation actually come directly from the Japanese term > jinrikisha > rickshaw.

You can see rickshaws often around big temples and tourist places to bring a "authentic" kind of experience. I'm always very impressed by the strength of those runners!
