How to say “I can’t wait” in Japanese

There are two ways to say “I can’t wait” in Japanese, which are “machikirenai” (待ち切れない) and  “machidooshi” (待ち遠しい), 


“Machikirenai” (待ち切れない) is when you’re looking forward to something so much that you become restless. It kind of reflects impatience. On the other hand, machidooshi (待ち遠しい) is used when you are looking forward to something but you’re okay to wait for it, reflecting patience.
